Just starting out on my gearbox rebuild venture and this is what first gear is like-



I take it worn bulks have done this?

scrap: Yes.
Baulk Rings: maybe.

Could also be weak / broken pre-energiser springs. I suspect years of abuse and a worn baulk ring however.

Thanks for the fast response TD. I will dig out the other box but I would say it's just as bad.
