Mine gets in the way a bit, but only when it is up. If it is down it does not cause a problem. |

Depends on what spec, believe you can build 1275/1293 to oe spec for approx £250 less machiening costs, depends on what you want from the engine really?

Mines cost loads, even though I have built it myself.

i would have thought you could scrape a budget engine for 2.5k, if you aren't gonna build it yourself then its gonna cost you a big chunk of the budget to have it done.

The minifilms dvd is ok to watch, they miss alot out and dont really explain things clearly. Timing the cam on there is a joke, takes him afew times and then they cut it to "some time later..." and you dont actually see him get it spot on. But for a newbie as such, that and a haynes manual you should have no problems understanding the engine and taking it apart etc. I have the dvd so if you pm me i may be able to help you out.

Ive done my own box, once youve had it apart its pretty simple. Watch the mini films 1380 as above! 1/4 Mile 14.3secs 96Mph Terminal 10psi of boost.
