New clutchplate , Orange diaphram should be OK at 8psi, Bleeding it would not help as that mostly affects releasinng not the clamping pressure.

Is the clearance to the bolt on the wok OK? could the clutch seal be leaking causing oil on the plate?

There are some posts about making sure the straps are level which gives the best clamping pressure, search around.

yeah, that should be enough to hold that. I think alexb was running an orange and he was hitting 16 psi with no slip. I reckon it's an adustment issue.

Update on clutch and mot. Sussed the clutch problem, orange oil seal!! and turbo metro plate . so i binned all that and replaced with orange diaphram and ap road race plate, i think its bonded and riveted should hold up now!! p.s also put in brown seal from mpi? apparently they r much tougher. pis soon.
