Does any one know where or how to fit a dump valve to a renault master?

I want to fit my spare one to the works van for a laugh.

Any help would be great.

I can see the intercooler pipes so know roughly where that goes, but finding a take off for the little pipe thing (forgotten the name of it) is proving difficult.

I bet my first wank came quicker than your first mini turbo

These new modern turbos with their quick spool up time, would make the competition harder.

it will be difficult as it wont create any vacuum because the engine speed is controlled by how much fuel is let in not much air as in a petrol engine.

so becuase the is no butterfly it cannot create vacuum because there is no major restiction in the intake system when the throttle is off.

the way most create a vacuum for things like the brake servo is by using a vacuum pump driven from the cam.

new VAG PD engine do have some sort of setup that creates vacuum on over-run i believe but i havent looked into it yet as i cant be assed...

if you rigged it up to a solenoid which was actiated by the pedal then this would be possible but pointless in my eyes.

That doesn't work on many diesels either. Quite often the actuator is driven off vacuum not pressure, so it is all arse about face,.

You can get diesel DV kits on ebay, don't know how they work without a throttle but all the Chavs have them on their Astras. Now all the VAGs have comp surge happening, still haven't figured that out yet!

Maybe they use a switch on the throttle pedal or clutch.
