Hi,
Im trying for the life of me to get my new CamBelt on.
Never had this problem before. the 2 gears are in line, but just can't get the belt on :( driving me Nuts lol
is there any tips someone could tell me please ?

I cant help, but...

youve had so much trouble with this cam belt kit, why dont you just chuck it and fit a chain?

Sometimes it helps to put the belt and pulleys all on together,but if you have already fitted the pulleys cant you "wind it on" by starting it off on the pulleys and turning the engine over?.

If your cam sprocket is 2 parts, then you could try it the way I did.
Split the 2 halves and fit the inner and the crank sprocket, wrap the belt round the crank sprocket and cam outer sprocket then fit the cam outer sprocket with the belt on it, if you can follow that.
As Nic says bin it, fit a chain, Ive just changed mine back from a belt and saved 1kg in weight too.

I did chuck it mate. got a new cam belt kit.
Is the chain the way to go then ? i thought the belt was the way to go ?
If this one go's nuts on me, i'll for a chain set up.
