... and breathe. lol!

It will be either the valve guides, valve stem oil seals or oil seals on the turbo. Have a look in the boost hoses. If there's oil in there it's the turbo, if not it one (or both) of the others.

The 'deceleration' will probably be down to fueling. Has it been set up properly?

Get it on a rolling road as soon as possible.

What colour is the smoke? When does it occur?

Who built it and who "repaired" it ???

Any garage (or even an amatuer mechanic) would first do a compression test, or better still a leakdown test, before "replacing a couple of seals".

Only then will you get an idea of what's leaking the oil to burn in the exhaust.

The seals in the turbo are piston ring type seals, not rubber, so don't go hard with age (although they can obviously wear) so what seals was he/she talking about ???

Turbo repair kits are available on eBay but you need to mark it carefully when taking it apart to maintain the balance (asuming someone before you hasn't already screwed it up hence the oil useage) or know a proper turbo reconditioner who can re-balance it for you.

OK, after the humor, can your "really good mechanic" (who couldn't be arsed at the time) actually do a compression test or, better still, a leakdown test.

Given those figures, we may be able to give some serious advice.

Without something as basic as that.... it is difficult.
