I've got a set of Shimano Deore hydraulic brakes, but the hoses are too long. How do I cut these? just by pliers? Is there an oilve at the end?

Someone has got to know *wink*

I have the same ones, cut the pipe and fit a new olive. Sometimes you can get away with using the old olive if the person that did it up before didn't hang on it!

Olive! The thing is that in Norway, the rear brake is on the right. Yes!
That meant when I just bought a rear brake from the UK, that goes on the front. *wink*

It's my GF's bike that I also use for trial. Small, agile and jumpety bike *wink*

I need to get a couple of olives then...

Sounds the same as US bikes, can you get custom hoses from Goodridge? I know they make them for Hope brakes.
