I was thinking about just using the standard mini hoses and getting an adapter made to run the fiesta brakes....does anybody what the mini fitting that usually goes into the caliper is called? And the fiesta end is m10x1 as far as i know.

it has a banjo type fitting you will want pretty long ones, i recall when i did the fezzy conversion i had to try three different sets of hoses otherwise you wfind when on full lock it pulls the pipe and problems will occur. as for the copper pipe meeting the flexi. it is metri rathar than imperial my local motor factors made me some piping with metric ends on for the hoses, which was not expensive i might add.

Definately go for banjo bolts for the calipers. I recently changed the hoses on the British Open to ones with banjos as they were starting to split due to the kink it puts in the pipe. The likes of Merlin Motorsport will make you a set for very little money. Note with banjo bolts you may need a thick copper washer to get them to seal properly as the thread on the calipers is slightly recessed.

Second that. Banjo bolts in the caliper is a Godsend!

Mine gets in the way a bit, but only when it is up. If it is down it does not cause a problem.

over here I get that stuff from Pegasus Racing, decent prices. The hoses they sent were Goodridge, the adapter was made by Longacre

The adapter needs an inverted flare fitting (double flared), so the Mini single flared fitting on the end of the pipe has to be re-flared.
