Following on from the other thread regarding what settings to use, anyone know somewhere near North Lancashire/South Cumbria that is good at carrying out a set up?

Camber & tracking I can do but castor I am dubious about - and hence my car is as it was thrown together. I started with the tie rods at standard length but the wheels were far too far forward in the arches so I have lengthened the tie rods to push them back. It can't be anywhere near right!

Hmm, Harrogate's not too bad if a Saturday or Sunday was possible?

I can do weekends, but moving house next week, so need a few weeks to get sorted and all my kit out. No free weekend til the end of August either.

Hmm, I know ROad & Stage well but must admit I didn't realise they did alignment work - will make some enquiries.
Needless to say Wil_h's offer will be cheaper even with a few beer tokens thrown in though *wink* And after end of August will suit me fine.

Mini Spares Camber and Castor guage recommended by Mr Calver himself part no. Tool 10 ( i think) works a treat, well, it did on mine anyway, and once bought at 30 odd quid it's yours for life. Dead easy to use. I found the following settings worked on mine. Front - 1.5 deg Neg Camber. 3 deg Castor. Rear - Neutral Camber. Toe in/out as per Haynes.

It's not the age that makes me creak it's the mileage
