Hi,

Looking to get someone to build my short motor up for me, including camshaft all timed in etc.

I would build it myself but dont have time or place to build it at the moment.

Was wondering how much it would cost someone to do this for me, a ball park figure. Theres a local engine builders near me who have been helpfull in the past, i'll get a quote off them for it but just wondered how much you lot would think it would cost at a guess?

Normally a fully built engine is about £200

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

thats to build it, no parts

pistons are more than that alone!

but yeah, £200, best part of a days work for somone to build it up sounds about right

Yeah ive got all the bits to get it built.

We built the short motor before - the camshaft.

However i wasnt happy with it because the rings where impossible to get in, and minispeed mixed up my rod caps.

So im just going to take it apart and get someone else to do it.
