nr coventry

how do all, what size is the brake pipe that gos from front to back on the mini, i need brake pipe to run inside the car as i've bought a bender (hahahaha) & a flaring tool cheers all

i thought it may be 5/16ths i'm proboly wrong though *tongue*

also the union size

The brake pipe is 3/16" and the union thread size is 3/8"unf

As Paul says.

Just be careful with the unions, as the metric alternative is 10x1 which is very very close to 3/8 UNF, and will screw into each other, but is a sloppy fit, and won't seal properly.

Fucked up a brand new flexi cos I thought the union was just tight and kept tightening it.Went to bleed the thing and hydraulic spurted up so high it hit the ceiling.*happy*

cheers chaaps gonna try to get some pipe & unions, i think a place near me sell the stuff in those sizes, hopefully get the brake line in the car with some stainless p-clips, then the underside is clear of pipework *tongue* i'm popping in 2moro to try to sort the right sizes

just need to think over the internal gearlinkage idea hmmmmmmmmmmm?

oh arrrhhh heres the company they are 5 mins from my house so hopefully they'll have what i need, i have braided hose's for my brakes & they are being overhalled so i'll do the lot in one hit if i can
