Yep a neasty one, a very fast part of the circuit on the approach to "cascades". i would imagine he took a knock from someone or a mechanical failure, the car should not have lunged that way unprovoked

I thought this too, he was busy putting the car out and the other marshall pointed out to him that his leg was on fire.
