SKYLINES ARE LIKE CLITS, EVERY FLANGE SEEMS TO HAVE ONE: see this sticker on my silvia

the Search-section on this forum is blummin superb & simple to use, unlike some other forums, without the search-section & the help of this bunch of chaps on here i'll never be able to !!!Start the day with a 998cc turbo!!! :) i'm getting closer though!

My sister is so fit I won't show anyone her picture

You can tell if it has sodium valves by the thickness of the valve stem, they will look considerably thicker than the inlets.
Also usually, though not always, the Turbo head has a "T" stamped into it near where the casting for the heater take off is.

As the valve stem is bigger. Is the retainer bigger as well or are just the valve collets different?

Mine gets in the way a bit, but only when it is up. If it is down it does not cause a problem.

The valve seam is visably bigger... as are the guides and as the collets have to match, the spring cap is slightly bigger. The springs are all the same size...

Hi all.
Regarding the questions on identifying the turbo head and standard components, my web site at http://www.eraturbo.com has a copy of the ERA Microfiche on it. Just go to the site, click on 'Technical ' on the left-hand menue then select 'Microfiche'.
Click on a page number against sub heading to view each page and read of part number. Unfortunately, some parts lists are applicable to following page, but this is Rovers layout, not mine!
