I've been doing some reading about the NGK's and champion's. Now my spec of my engine is a 1380 with 225 psi in compression making it a 10-1 if I'm right.
Now as a fool and not researching for years I was using bosch super 4's, well they got stood on over the weekend as I have had it when them after a 3rd set failed on me. So after reading I got myself a set of NGK BRP6ES plugs. Now I know they run a bit warmer than 7's, but this temperature gauge of mine has never seen days over 1/4 even if it is a stonker of a day in late 20's C. So I thought well 6's might be alright, but I've been reading and its not all about that so I guess I'm still running the wrong plugs. After reading dave's reply in a post about the NGK's, I'm not in the mood for more hassel with spark plugs, so I'm wondering as I cant find out, what champions would be suited for my engine? I'm not expecting them to be cheap but I just want something more suited to my engine with the right temperature to burn.
I do get a bit of pre-ignition atm but I guess I'm to expect that with 14 degree's on the ignition timing being non vacuum. But my answer to this was to fit an anti runon valve that came off the coopers. This will sort it, but am I still doing something wrong?

There are two types of people on this forum

1) Those who love NGK and hate Champions
and 2) those who love Champions and hate NGKs.

Personally i'm in the love NGKs camp. the 6s sound right for your engine and i'd leave them in.
