I sold one of my modified cylinder heads on ebay a few months ago for £325, low & behold i see the same guy's selling it for £400 Buy It Now !
& he's also claiming it's an Avonbar head that cost him £600, but he's using the description & a picture from my website {bottom left picture}

The head was engraved with my website address & spec of head. so he'd have to have removed this to. If you view his feedback you can see when he bought it off me on the 6th April.
Anyway, if he'd told the truth i wouldn't be bothered what he did with it, but when he's claiming it an Avonbar one, well that's just plain dishonest.
Anyway i sell these for £350

I assume avonbar have their own stamp? Mabie someone who has an avonbar head for reference should ask him for a photo of the stamp on that head.

shame for you phil, on the other hand mabie a credit to the quality of the head that someone thinks he can pass it off as an avonbar one.

Change the picture if it is still hosted on your server. gay porn perhaps?

Just go to the bottom of the eBay page "Other options" and report it...

A total waste of time usually but at least it puts a marker on their system in case a buyer finds your markings and realises it's not Avonbar's and thinks that you're involved in the scam.

I've got an avonbar head, apart from the chamber vol being stamped in I don't think there is any specific Avonbar reference on it.

Why not point Ian to the auction, I'm sure he'd be keen to have it pulled if it is falsely advertising something as his which is not.

He's edited & changed his description now, so i suppose that's fair enough.
I didn't mind him selling it for more or whatever, he can do what he wants with it that's up to him. I just thought it was a bit unfair if somebody thought thet were buying an Avonbar head when they weren't.
