Hi everyone, just fitted my oil temp sensor in line after oil cooler and before filter housing on 1293 supercharged lump, what is the opinion on temps, just starting to think maybe i should block off the cooler with a sheet of something, seems its running a bit cool to me. i managed to get it up to about 60c, when ideally should be bout 80/90? |

maybe bypass the cooler altogether? then you can see if its really needed at all? "Turbo's make torque, and torque makes fun"

yes i had the same problem, and took my oil cooler off. Now giving it a bit on a warm day the oil gets to 90 ish to 100, spot on i would say. good to hear you are measuring it rather than just guessing. Best 1/4 mile 13.2 seconds @116 mph
