Hey everybod... has anyone redrilled their engine mount holes on the subframe... if so how far forward can you go without running out of space and/or causing driveshaft trouble?? |

I have my engine mounted in the std place on the std subframe. But I'm thinking of moving it back closer to the bulk head.....

he's got a fair bit of room at the front though as its a clubby estate he's turboing. but we're going to use the mirage kit so just wanted to get a bit of extra clearance.

if your realy bothered you could extend the top engine mount so it tilts the engine forward a touch, or use an automatic mount. turbo 16v k-series 11.9@118.9 :)
