Hey everybod... has anyone redrilled their engine mount holes on the subframe... if so how far forward can you go without running out of space and/or causing driveshaft trouble??

I have my engine mounted in the std place on the std subframe. But I'm thinking of moving it back closer to the bulk head.....

also you need to consider, the further foward you mount your engine, the more understeer you'll get, although you will get off the line better.

he's got a fair bit of room at the front though as its a clubby estate he's turboing. but we're going to use the mirage kit so just wanted to get a bit of extra clearance.

Got a 2wd cossie IC to go in, looks like it'll be a perfect size and fit, just gotta move the numberplate.

if your realy bothered you could extend the top engine mount so it tilts the engine forward a touch, or use an automatic mount.

turbo 16v k-series 11.9@118.9 :)
