Only the injection tanks had a return, most people weld / braze a return on to there tank. Isambard Kingdom Brunel said:

Just make sure you get an MPi tank, the SPi tanks is only 1.5 bar. Plus use an intertia switch. On 7th Nov, 2008 Nic said:

If you are going to do that run your lines inside a steel tube to prevent any damage being inflicted on them. I run a 10mm feed and return, what ever pump you fit the feed line from the tank has gotto be of a greater ID than the entry fitting on the pump otherwise YOU WILL have fuel feed issues. Own the day

Running a fuel pressure gauge is a good way of checking the condition of your fuel system. Own the day

simplist thing is to get an MPI tank, this has a high pressure pump built in and has the return, meaning you just need to run a pair of suitsbly sized pipes to the front, i have jsut fitted twin tanks, i'll pop up a pic in a bit. I have a full set of pipes and several tanks taking up space up for grabs if you want them you will have to collect. Own the day

You could always use a standard tank with a T piece for the return....I do, Well its actually a fuel filter with 2 inlets. one comes from the tank, one from the regulator return. the outlet feeds the fuel pump which sends pressurised fuel to the regulator. There are a few others doing the same thing, it seems to work. Terry Sorry to dig this up again but i've been thinking about this as it seems a great way to get around having to mod tanks/get an injection tank. I found this little chappy: http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/products/Pro...pcode=FSEMYP001 Up to the job of what you describe? I cant seem to find 2 inlet to one outlet filters anywhere if you can? As id prefer this, just so i can see the fuel's moving about! Edited by richminiturbo. on 23rd Aug, 2008. |

Yes it would do the job, but i decided to use a fuel filter as it gives a little resoviour of fuel which in my mind may help with any airation etc..
