West Sussex - dreaming of forced induction!

Right so i know what a turbo does and how it does it........thats it.
Who wants to teach a newbie all the rest like turbine sizes, a/r ratios etc etc or point me in the direction of a link!!!!!!

Saw a few of you guys going up the strip at MITP, seriously impressed! I have some 18cc +0.020" accralites in a MPi block that might just get the turbo feeling (was for a supercharged project) teach me to use the power of the darkside!!!8-)

turbobygarrett.com and read through the tech guides on there. that will give you a very good understanding into pretty much everything right through to reading compressor maps.

Hello mate,
I would think the 286 would be ideal. When i did the valve size calcs it showed as a good profile for that head setup, thats what the carbs are jetted for aswell. Still got that Large bore LCB if your intending to shift a lot of gas.8-) So you are going turbo now eh? good for you. There's loads of good info on this site, if you cant find answers here you won't find them anywhere. Theres also a guy building a 7 port turbo whose done a good build thread, Mini13. Oh! and try the search button its brilliant.
