Well I've just done three 0-60 runs at a show London way.

A little disappointing I must say but there you go. I thought I'd try some new ways to start, but non of then worked. :(

first, was pull away on full boost and leave it on the limiter to see if it acked like traction control. It just made lots of noise and bangs but the wheels spins just didn't really stop.

second, was slipping the clutch more on low. ended smoking tyres at the end so didn't slip it enough LOL

third, was little clutch slip , ended bogging down.

I think the surface was a tiny bit to blame, I have had a better time before. I have to use some thing for my excuse*wink* It was a concrete slab surface about 8-10 foot squares and the joins were all uneven and every time you had a little grip the bumps seemed to unsettle it all again.

Any way my best if you can call it that was 6.2 sec.

other FWD cars that were there:

Clio williams 2 7.3 sec
clio 182 6.9
Civic type R low 7s
Integ type R 6.7
Golf VR6 with No2 6.4
Rs Turbos Low 7s

any way that's it for now, i have some video footage but it will just be sound for you as my mate (well he was!) left the cap on the camera for ALL the runs!!!!!!!!!

Best 1/4 mile 13.2 seconds @116 mph

The boring bloke who runs this place.

Berkshire

lmao, clever.

never mind about the time mate, 6.2 is still bloody quick!
for me, the more impressive times are 30-70

The Stig..

Newport Pagnell

Leaving the line on full boost is not an advantage.

Still quick times!!..don't forget Avon/Pod etc have purpose made glued start lines.

yeah cheers chaps, was hoping for more but that's life. yes a 30-70 would have been best, for most FWD cars :o
