well you need the hubs and everything that supports them (sus. arms tiebars cones damper) from a front sub but with the mountings to fit the rear sub points of a mini shell

On the Coupe, we use a whole front end subframe in the back. The bits are available to lock off the steering and for the gear change.

I think Zcars may help you... This was bought from them back in 2004: This car is a Mini Pickup...with a turboed Suzuki Swift 16v, 4wd!!8-) It is pretty quick!! that swing arm is what i saw at mitp (maybe not that actual one ) but with the rose joints and the engine- drivetrain layout is of the same as my plans with the diff in the back, iirc the swift 4wd uses the justy drivetrain so thats something to think about
thanks alot, any more pics?

I've had the hubs modified (doesn't need much to do it), so that I am using MGF calipers. Any machine shop can easily do the mod, and gives you a proper self adjusting handbrake mechanism, as I used the cables and lever too. Tim Rowe

PS! Whats the price? the price for the arms is £220 each + cv's plus brake setup plus obviously the coil overs plus the bespoke drive shafts at £110 each plus the material cost of the subframe and atleast a week to build
i think im looking at close to a grand but this seems to be the simple-est option and in the long run the most reliable, mitp 50 gets closer by the day
one think i will say i have sent 3 emails and got 3 replys within a single day, and Richard who i am dealing with knows his stuff

i have been doing loads of research on different rwd subframes for the mini, my fav so far is the ring mini's rear mounted front subby, i saw a few good, rwd mini's at mitp last sunday witch seemed to be running mini style rear swing arms but with drive shafts, i cannot find any info on them at all, im confident in my building/ fabricating skills but not confident to build a complete rear subby and suspension geometry aswell, so im looking into some thing that can mount to say a rear beam conversion
