See title.

Anyone know where I can buy one of these kits, I have got a customer with a 206 with suspected head gasket failure, but I don't want to have to take the head off if the gasket is OK.

After one of the sniffer things that changes colour of a liquid if exhaust gases are present in the coolant system.

Possibly but at the moment it is running fine, not losing water, it is just oil getting into water. I suspect oil/water heat exchanger is leaking internally, but customer has a bee in bonnet about head gasket, but I am reluctant to just do the gasket if it won't fix the problem.....

yeah I know snap on sell them, I used to have a blue point version until my work escort van got pinched with it in the back.......
was hoping that someone like draper or sealey might do one as I don't do so much with cars now and so am loathe to pay through the nose to the snap on man!

go to mot station and get them to put probe in header tank and test for hydrocarbons...there will be a very small amount present in any engine but a high number will give you your answer
