i had my car rolling roaded with an exhaust pretty much the same as that on it when it was N/A. came out with 61bhp for an MG engine with that exhaust and a K&N. not too bad seeing as it was a £50 special engine that had done over 100k miles when i put it in my car. did go bang a month later though :)

we tried the same exhaust on a 1380,
lost 15bhp against an rc 40,correct me if im wrong but turbo exhausts are even more critical for good results, back pressure etc.

I was under the impression that the least backpressure the better for a turbo? is this the case?? I was planning on running twin bike cans

i thought turbo cars worked better with the least back pressure aswell jim.in fact i thought it was only 2 strokes that required back pressure to get the best from them

correct the least back pressure the better, but the backbox has to have the correct packing to work right, thats why companys like maniflow
make a backbox especially for turbos.

sauber I see what your saying mate But that's not ALWAYS the case. it just depends on what you want from the car.

hmm, found this article a few months back when choosing my exhaust ..... could help settle a few arguments between you guys ....

http://www.nsxprime.com/FAQ/Miscellaneous/exhausttheory.htm

If you are short on time/patience, just read the last 3 sections. Very useful i thought anyway. It seems back pressure isnt quite as important as everyone makes out to be.
The way i see it, your exhaust system should work just fine buddy :)
