I believe that they need a proper tuning, a mate of mine put a bleed valve on a 2.0 TD asta van, it ran like a bag of the preverbial, Injection needs modifying Speedster turbo under construction |

wind the diesel screw on the pump out, and then yes you can fit a bleed valve, youll be amazed what a difference winding the screw out will do, you may find its not worth increasing the boost..... who am i kidding... best do both! And on the 7th day........... God created turbochargers! |

if it has a mechanical injection pump then like sparky says wind the pump up a bit and bleed some boost off the wastegate regulator......not guaranteeing it will last forever but have heard of a bloke with a 306 dturbo running something stupid like 2 bar of boost........

not if you wind the pump back in before you give it to them!! only takes two minutes, so no problem really. the best way to do it to be honest, is to wind the pump out, till you are getting a bit of black smoke, then wind it back till its just dissapearing. hardly an exact science, granted, but its worked for a least three different vehicles i know of!
And on the 7th day........... God created turbochargers! |

well, picked it up tonight and the boost is leaking off somewhere, split pipe or pipe come off, can hear it when foot is down, also clutch is goosed, other than that its pretty good for a free car lol, moted and taxed til nov!
