Only took me a year from taking the originals out to putting a pair of RS turbo Recaros in!! followed advice and made my own subframes - works great, cheers Turbo Dave! Still plenty to do though, had to take my wiring loom back out on Sunday, I switched the side lights on (not that there are any installed on the car) and smoke came wafting gently out of the loom!! Turned out the feed from the light switch to the fuse box which runs the side lights (normally an in line fuse) must have shorted to ground somewhere. Took the opportunity to remove the wiring from the ballast ignition, washer pump and windscreen wipers. Also moved the feeds for the rear loom to inside the car along with the feeds for the side repeaters as I am gonna be running indicators in my mirrors. Speedster turbo under construction |
