yes, just leave your petrol cap off and dont go out in the rain

You will then need make another breather, as you will end up with a pressurised tank and then restrict the flow of fuel through the return. You can return the fuel back to the pump inlet pipe. If you do a search you'll find out how people have plumbed theres in.
