I am selling my project due lack time and moving house

The shell is perfect condtion new sills, some of the floor was replaced, new front end. Completely resprayed black. The engine is 90% complete. quaife LSD, minispeed straight gear set in box with new bearings mainshaft and layshaft. Striaght cut drop gears. Ultra light flywheel and clutch sintered paddle and double grey cover and slave cylinder.

The crank is wedged and bladed, balanced along with damper with 36tooth wheel. Conrods lightened polished ARP bolts. zetec cooling jets. omega cast piston done 3000miles in old engine then taken out and machined cut outs for 16v head.

The engine is built just needs little things finshing off like cam seal fitting, clutch flywheel fitting. I'm sure if people asked matty nicely they could get a copy of his map for basic running in as mine is nearly indentical to his set up but i used the morspeed conversion kit.

The running gear ie suspension etc has all had new bearings bushes, radius arm bearing and pins so on the list of new stuff is massive.

If a say everything is new or nearly new that would cover 90% of the moving parts of the build I would guess

I will try and get some pics up. I have got to contact the DVLA to get the new style logbook as I still have the old V5 thingy.

lol yeah someone will have a nice build, it just need a few bits finishing off and dropping in the car, plumbing and mapping I haven't included the megasquirt etc as anyone with sense will use VEMS and try matty map as a starting point.

I hope you are moving to a house with a big ass garage! Do you think you will sell your megasquirt in the future? I dont want to seem like a vulcher but I am thinking about it for my suck through supercharger. Just doing some homework on it. If you do want to sell let me know

Moving out of our parents place with misses into our own place. Just not enough hours in a day with all the work needed on the house etc. I have my VX220turbo which I tend to spend far too much time and money on and the mini just sits there all alone, until I have a spare weekend or evening. Don't want to sell it I may split if I get enough offers to clear all of the bits so I would consider selling MS but keeping WB lambda and controller.

anyone after bits let me know cuz I have a garage full of spares bit aswell. Few nice bits like a one off MG metro rocker cover but with all the fins taken off and polished up.

mike if you wouldent mind can i come up and have a ganders through the bits in your garage?

how much in roughly are you asking?

There is always a woman behind everything in life lol. Na we are buying a house together and just looking to thin out stuff before moving and to add money to my saving for the mortgage

I don't really wanna say a price. I want to know what people think it is worth. I will get some more picture tomorrow on the way home.

I don't really want people knowing where I keep until I know they are serious about having it. But let me know anything you are after and I will see what i have in my stores lol.

If I don't get much interest on here I will be putting it on ebay at the weekend. Just need to get everything in order before moving etc and just won't have the time when I get my house.

wow, the pictures are total porn x.x sorry to hear you have to get rid of your project, beleive me it will only get worse, within weeks of saying goodbye you will wish you kept it been there done that, tryed to move on and ahh i am back here, less an engine lol

Serious shame. Fancy selling your tools whilst you are at it? I also imagine you will not be going to the pub with your friends anymore. Children next and then you've just got to wait for old age and finally death.

Jeez, I've got a bird hellbent on getting shacked up, I've also got a shed full of bits which are only another few £00 from being complete. That spangly gearbox, blower engine.... all I need is a head and a propane rig and I'm in business.... it will be awesome.

It's down there doing nothing, the tools are sat next to it and really, in the grand scheme of things, a few grand is FA. It's your mini, your dream of getting a huge rush, wondering what it would be like, overcoming the challenge.

Sell it, get shacked up, buy a nice cooker or a fridge with the money, perhaps a memoryfoam mattress, get kidded up, buy them toys, put your secondhand Zafira TDi away and clean it on a sunday.

Keep the mini, don't let your penis ruin your dreams!!!!

NB:- I'm jealous you have that engine to sell, that engine would go right in my mini and save me a lot of work....

Thought I might have had more people interested in taking the mini off my hand for the money I was asking for such a bit of kit like this.

Sadly, after coming back from a stint in Australia and a disasterous tuned up beetle, the next thing I have to sell is my mini. If I hadn't been such a chump and followed my bird to Aus, at the instruction of my penis, I would have flogged some unnecessary junk, kept the bullshit to myself and taken your mini off your hands!
