It could pay to strip the carb down and either rebuild it or clean it up if you cant get hold of a rebuild kit.

is it a turbo carb or a N/a carb? you say both about but im putting that down to your english (which is impressive by the way im sure i wouldnt be able to speak your language!) and not your inteligence/ability.

does the gasket between the carb and plenum have the extra hole thats lets the turbo pressure the float chamber?

if so is it the right way round?

I can't set the pressure of the regulator if the engine don't start

You can test the fuel pressure with just the fuel pump running *tongue*
Just turn the ignition on, and use a Lo - Gauge Compression Tester.

in his first post it says there is fuel in the float chamber but not at the needle tube. mixture screw need adjusting? wrong needle? also could still be lack of fuel pressure? also if you cant work out whats wrong, was it rebuilt correctly?

Do you have an electric fuel pump?

I do not think that the Facet pump will provide enough pressure for the turbo fuel pressure regulator to work correctly.

You will need to get a high pressure pump.

If you just want to start the engine, then remove the turbo fuel regulator and connect the output of the Facet pump direct to carburetor.

The Facet pump is self regulating, so should alow you to run engine on idle.
