Horndean - Near Portsmouth

What do the drive strap bolts get torqued to? The pressure plate to backplate bolts aswell?

Cant find them in the haynes

I'm not 100% sure I believe this but this is what MiniSpares say...

Because it's so low, I always use a shakeproof washer and loctite !!!

Would that apply to the diagphram to backplate bolts aswell?

I guess so, they are the same shouldered bolts aren't they ???

I think its so low because the threaded bit is really quite a small size compared to what you'd think from the size of the head.

EDIT - double checked with Haynes , it's on page 114 of the light blue book (the hard to get one) and it says 16 lbf ft for all six. (22 Nm for those who use proper units...). So it matches MiniSpares.

Just wondered if they might be different because the ones that go into the backplate are longer! Wanted to double check :)
