Instead of cluttering up that thread with just chat as it looks like it will soon hold alot of great info i thought i would start a new thread so as that suggestions could be made for it and then they could possibly get Edited into that thread.

That should make it less cluttered and easier to navigate.


My thought was that would it be possible to have all new member directed to that thread when they first register/log in?

that way straight away they would be directed to a thread where it tells them nearly all of the basic things to do with the conversion and bits and bobs.

i think that most people that post up the silly FAQ's dont even take a look at the sections that could hold the info they need let alone use the search button, so i think if they were immediately directed to a place that holds most of this information then they wouldnt really have an excuse and if they ask something that is covered in that thread then we can really lay into them *tongue*

What do you think? and is it doable? Alex?
