do a search mate as all your questions come up with alarming regularity (except the gasket one.. jsut use good gaskets and torque it up roperly!)

Your pump should push out at least 30lbs

Take a little peek at this link, just wondered if your not getting enough fuel pressure when on boost so the fuel cant travel up the jet (gets forced back down) Always need slightly more fuel pressure than turbo boost.

outlet pressure from the reg. to the carb. should be 3.5psi at idle and should stay at 3.5psi until boost transision then rise in proporsion with the boost i.e. if you've got 5psi boost then you should see 8.5 psi fuel pressure.

You need to set your fuel pressure between 3.5 and 4 PSI on the carb side of the pressure regulator. Your exhaust manifold may not be flat so we suggest you get the faces machined and use a genuine turbo gasket.

They are exactly the same as twin point gaskets I was told...

but the twinny ones are hlaf the price.

So far I haven't had any problems, but my head is flat and my exh manifold is too (for a change!).

I got 8 exhaust gaskets from minispares around 2 months ago...
Check the FAQ/Knowledge section, as this sounds like you need to try the tee-piece trick..

if youve checked everything and its all ok then youve missed something or not checked it right. (didnt mean to sound blunt)
spend a night searcing on here find every probable cause (most problems have been delt with) and recheck everything if your not sure whether something is right or not dont just forget it and assume its ok, come on here and ask how to check it or what readings you should be getting everyone will help as much as they can.
its a process of ellimination sometimes youll be lucky and find it first but normally its the last thing you check
good luck *smiley*

no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.

Just a quick note to you guys on the subject of exhaust gaskets, the o/e turbo ones are NOT the same as the injection Minis, also the MPi has an all steel face withvery thin metal support rings which is a very good gasket but not for turbo use.
