Awright guy's?? Im looking to get a heat sheild made up. Does anyone know what they are made out of???? Cheers guy's.

Stopped making them as the price of stainless is up.
I can give you the dimensions, just knock one up out of ally and get some of that heat resistant blanket.
Hasn't got to be pretty, you hardly see it. :)

milamber cant you make them out mild steel and then coat them with heat shield paint

If theres enough interest, I shall look into stainless. I never even made myself one at the time! Mind, they wouldn't fit anyway. I've got float chamber spacer fitted.

Make a mould useing exspanding foam then reproduce your heat shield in fibre glass and line it inside and out with exhaust wrap cheap cheerfull but effective.
