finally got it running was the bloody wiring! anyway was just wondering if my fuel pump is wired in to the oil pressure switch which it is and i get it running if i disconnect the wire from the switch should it die because it doesnt. i will show u the diagram but how do you post them.

Are you saying that the engine runs with the wire disconnected, and won't run with it connected?

If so, you probably are running a non turbo oil pressure switch.

Turbo switch = closed with oil pressure.
Non Turbo = open with oil pressure.

it shouldn't die - when oil pressure is 0, it connects to the block (-neg) which would stop the engine, if you have oil pressure, the wire is not connected to anything (hence the light on your dash being out) which is the same as taking the wire off completely. Connect the wire to a metal part of the car (or hold it on the block), the pump should cut out.
