Hi all sorry its not about mini but hope someone can help.

Im using a fiesta run about for work runs, its started taking ages to start in mornings. I bought new glow plugs that didnt work.

I gave the glow plugs 12volts manually and it starts first time.

is it the temp sensor that needs renewing? or some other sensor is this a common fault?

Cheers Chris

Most likely is the glow plug relay has failed. I'd check this first.

sounds like tom is going to be right. find the glow plug relay and test it. i dont think that they are very expensive so if you cant test it just replace it.

Diesel filter quite critical on those engines. Other than that, relay.

Edit...I know on my transit...its more foot flat on the throttle with the clutch in!
