Omegas are based on the old hepolite performance piston designed i think in the 70's (can provide the number if it's important) but beefed up around the crown and lands. now the omega is the same basic design with the same piston to deck height of 40 thou on a standard block. it would be advisable to measure your base to deck height to make sure you have the correct clearance or better still install the pistons and vernier the clearance. My block had been refaced to true it up so mine were around 5 thou less at 35 but there was a plus or minus 10 percent variance between the cylinders meaning a well dynamically balanced engine would require some 'blueprinting' to equalise CR's between cylinders.
