My car has been running great since i sorted out the fuel return.
Went out this morning, and noticed the fuel gauge was running below the red, thanks to the missus.
So i filled the car up. went to start it, but wouldn't start for at least 5 minutes of trying. so went about 500 yards, then it died at the lights :( took me ages to start it yet again. seems ok once it's running.
But after about 10 minutes of leaving it turned off, it takes a good 2 to 5 minutes to start now. it's not the heat from the turbo, as i've got a heat shield, which has been great since i fitted it.
so what's going on :(
Would the tank have crap in it ?
If so, i take it the carb will have crap inside also. i did fit a new MPI fuel filter..

Be great full for ya help..

Cheers.

More than likely crap in the dashpot/jet assembly, whip it off and have a look

Yout right, crap in there.
Cleaned it all out and put some 2 in 1 oil in, as dash pot oil makes the car run crap for some reason. so seems ok now :)
Think i'll clean the tank out also.

cheers.
