I need to find a few metres of 27mm nominal (26.5-27.5 in reality) diameter steel tube, with 2.0min wall thinckness...
My local steel stockholder doesn't have this stuff in, and I got the impression he didn't want to be dealing with an obvioulsly small order...
So, anyone suggest something? I've already got some here, so it must be a standard size somewhere, but i'm not having much luck finding it...

Anyone help??? *oh well*

I use these:

Never had any problems and they positively love selling small amounts.

Dave,

how much are you going to need?

my local supplier will normally get whatever I want, but the minimum he'd normally be able to get (on a special order) is a 4m length

Too many projects!
