i just got back from cornwall today and i have seen some of the worst boy racer cars ever!
my favorite is an escort with chrome look plastic wheel trims with chrome effect plastic spinners on them!! i laughed my arse off!
i got a couple of pics of some bad cars in newquay, i'll get them uploaded later, here's a bit to think about though...... badly done metallic pink paint on both cars.

i am in devon, and i agree that the southwest has to be the worst for so called "modded" cars, i dont know what the rest of the country is like, but its bad here, i try and stay above that level by having the turbo mini

i dont think most people can believe its a turbo when you pull along beside them with the dump valve going off, then they look really confused when they hear the s/c box screaming, its quite amusing to watch their reaction

nothing wrong with plastic spinners, we hadthem on our last nova we used to go out in, only because the car was free my friend also stuck a poorly done fibreglass bonnet vent. The filler in the doors was great, it would fall out when you slammed the door. The car was fully legal and safe though and passed its MOT. The 1.2 carb models are alot faster than the 1.2 injections

i think theres only 2 car shops in newquay the place that sells all the air cooled stuff and motormania

i dont think ive ever seen anything of quality in motormania so they dont have much choice there
