Turbominis sunstrips.

Just had a thought, might be quite a cool idea (if people would want them) turbominis.co.uk sunstrips?

For trackdays etc they would be usefull for members picking out each others cars and also to get the sites name out there!!

What do you guys think? I've no idea who would produce them, maybe even I could get in contact as I know someone who works in a sticker shop and has made his own sunstrips for his and his mates minis!!

Any design/layouts would be cool to see, I like the dunlop miglia sunstrips which I have on my own car, but would rather have a TM one of course



I was looking at Nic's vmax scart one on the weekend and its just big text, this along with the logo might be quite noice...


Thoughts? IMO they wouldnt be tacky, you cant really beat the "Motorsport" or "Citroen" ones I see quite regularly on heaps of shite.

i would preferr something more along the lines of the Mig ones like a solid sun strip rather than lettering.

i think its very easy to get the lettering ones wrong and they would look tacky. although obviously if a few designs were made up first people could choose which they preffer.

i would offer to do the designs but im not really that way enclined.

trying to remember who curently does the stickers...feeble of oneeyedlizard spring to mind..im hitting the search button!

i would like on of these, maybe Ollie could help us out on this one! HINT HINT

stretched and reproprtioned? maybe a slightly more plane background to cut down on printing cost? if it would make a difference?

and maybe just thrown in a smaller .co.uk at the end of the TURBOMINIS bit so on closer inspection the site can be noticed?

just a quick mess around in the graphic designers programme that is paint.

i dont think it would be possible to knock out ones that had your username on them becuase that would mean a 1 off sticker every time and higher prices...

obviously it would have a small www. and co.uk at the begging and end of TURBOMINIS respectively.

i also think i preffer it with the NO1 turbocharged a series resorce underneath instead of just blank but culdnt be assed going around all of the letters haha

could you (when you have time obviously!) box off the www. and the .co.uk and put them white on black.

and then maybe put rhe Number 1 blah blah in a different colour? red? blue?

decided to not be so lazy..

Couldnt just change the writing to red though for some reason! so did this instead. imagine it with red writing for the turbocharged.... or maybe the same blue that runs through the middle of the Turbominis logo above.

when you step back from glass it becomes black anyway mate so you won't need a black backing of vinyl.
