due to being curious what does your mini weigh???? if you dont mind me asking, i'm not asking the weight of ya mrs/miss am i lol

have you weighed your mini?

i'm interested to roughly guess what mine will end up at

mine at present has/has not got

doors have been done with fibreglass skins & i know weight 10kg each
minifins
rear bins or seat base
no rear valance
front valance chopped in the middle
inner wings removed & brace bars fitted (grp or carbon front to be fitted nxt year sometime)
slam panel removed (moreso for easier engine removele)
all trim brackets/battery cable bracket & fuel/brakepipe brackets removed
cant rail uppers are gone
rear parcel shelf (thin sheet alloy replacement)
polycarb windows except screen
carbon kevlar seat
no trim at all or heater or headlining
grp bonnet/boot
heavy-carbon boot floor
all soundproofing chipped of the floor
cut down rear subby & coilovers
lightend swisscheeze front subby
KAD alloy handbrake quadrents (its all i can afford from KAD)
i have a 6-point cage & bracebar between the rear arches (i think a cage weighs 30kg)
rear arches tubbed
turbo box to be added!!!

any ideas of the weight chaps is appreciated

Rear bulkhead removed.

fg flat panel from hinge panel to seat base.

no rear seat or pockets

dash rails cut out, support for steering column support welded to bulkhead.

all brakets removed.

mini fins

poly carb windows.

singular magnum kevlar seat.

swiss cheese front sub frame.

cut down rear sub frame and coil overs.

5 gallon alloy fuel tank.

10x5 wellers.

now the fiberglass bits

bonnet.
front end
bootlid
flat panel from hinge panel to seat base
door skin.


520kg i dident feel brave enought to do the roof aswell with no cage.

will be makeing my own carbon panels now.

mine is 660kg, poly windows in rear and rear sides ,beam axle carbon front f glass bonnet ,two carpets and masses of soundproofing in the floor bulkhead area ,front mounted metro mk1 rad ,and 12 inch revos .

robert: i was watching from the straight near the enterance, blue jacket on, as for your driving well i thought it was ok if mildley twichy but not bad!

it was'nt eratic like that chap in the pearl yellow mini, he was fast but a bit iffy to me anyhow

but yeah, the passenger was a bit pale in the helmet! lol have you a grab handle near the roof robert? i'd go round the track in your car, i've seen worse driving, my own is a great example of crap driving but we'll get there teeehee

Jim. Surely cant call it a cam shaft if it has no lobes on it

First thing my machinist said when i asked him to grind the lobes off, was " It'll never work you know"
