Hiya fellas
Just wanted to introduce you to my long term project.
A 197? Clubby Estate known as the Adidas project.
This due to the fact that, although it's rotten as an overripe pear,I've decided to restore it.Obviously all my mates have told me numerous times I'm mad-it won't fly-it's a waste of money and every time I kept hitting back with Impossible is Nothing.

Plan is to cut it up into a pickup(hence the recent post about my "mate" with the "convertible"*happy*) and fit a 998 turbo engine.
Engine will have a Toyota CT9 turbo on a Mirage Manifold and 12G940 cylinder head.
Wheels will be 10" Revolutions.
Body will be non metallic orange with black roof.
Interior is undecided.

Some pics below.

As found. It had been there for about 5 years.

Dragged outta the weeds.

Dragging it home behind my mate's Toyota Hilux. Had a flat tire disintegrate on the way home so stopped at another mates to borrow a spare.

How NOT to remove an engine.About 15 mins after I took this pic the pipe dropped off the blue ladder onto my back, dumping the engine unceremoniously back into the engine bay.Thankfully no damage was sustained by either party involved.

How it stands now.
About the wing and door.I needed some sheet metal*happy*

Managed to remove some of the front subby bolts tonite.
Work postponed due to it being Saturday night.

Thanks for looking.

Yup I'm gonna do just that Joey.
You can buy them in Malta.
But still requires a lot of patching in the roof and the cant rails and shit.
Also missing the front right shock mount.

Thanks for all the encouragement lads.
I'll keep ya posted.
