Excel Compression ratio calculator i've made as i was having trouble finding one. Its not pretty but it works!

Cant get this up but does it do dynamic compression ratio as well?

Yeah your ones slightly more complex than my one.LOL !

I only created it as the link you posted in another topic kept taking me to a random page and not the file. guess it was mozilla that was causing that problem as its working now. Cheers for replying!

I know the yanks love putting that in had me in fits when I read it first. I also like the altitude function living in Luton I am at 462ft average never realised that before.

the compression ratio calculator on this is erm either bad or im shit. just did what i plan to use and a few geusses it came up with 7.01:1 compression ratio. did the standard parts said on top right sposide 9.4:1 cr comes up at 9.7:1 instead...

Hmmm....

I have no problem with it, I downloaded the xls file to my laptop and have all my figures entered and every time I check a variation on any of the figures, the result is just what I would expect.

It's a bit fiddly as to which cells you enter, but works fine.

Thanks Keith. After trying your Excel sheet I found out there was a big mistake in my own calculation. I calculated a compression of 9,85 where it should have been 10,85. Oops...
