hi im a newbie to this site i have put a turbo mety engine in my f reg 998 city and was wondering if anyone could tell me or provide me with an internet address with regards to my engine wiring i have metro wiring loom if needed but was hoping to just use mini is this possible i have wired starter up and alternater and have put the + and minus on the coil as was on the mini but i have 5 wires on the mini and 2 wires on the turbo dizzy that i dont know where they go also my plenum catches on my bulkhead how would i solve this problem i have searched and searched for this information but cannot find it any help would be greatly apreciated thanks |

There is a header on here at the top right. 2nd one in. It has the answers to all your questions and will even get you thinking of more questions as you find your answers. Click on it and type your query. Typing "wiring" Brings up about 28 results alone. Give it a go. I think it is great. Just requires a littlet time. Enjoy |

i fitted a 1293 turbo to a D reg mayfair. Ignition feed to the coil and crank feed to the starter that simple whats the problem u are having?

ballasted wire isn't used, the pink one, you need to run a ignition feed from the fuse box to the positive side of the coil. There are plenty of diagrams on here how to wire up the dizzy. 133.5 bhp 123 lb torque 116mph @6640rpm 9.5psi

white and yellow from dizzy to +ve on coil, white and black from dizzy to -ve on coil.
