Ive been looking into different ways of finishing my dash. Ive got 3 options;

proper flocking looks great, but i cant recommend the diy kits!! "Turbo's make torque, and torque makes fun"

I've heard the DIY kits are crap too. I know someone who had is dash flocked, think it was around £80 On 15th May, 2009 TurboDave said:

There was a flocked dash top for sale on [shh]Miniforum[/shh] for £50 which I thought was cheap - but I guess no good in this instance.

Your local Chav Power garage should be able to sort you out. Usually sound system places. This is how they do subs n stuff. 1/4 Mile 14.3secs 96Mph Terminal 10psi of boost.

Also, try an upholsterer, just go in with your dash and tell the what ur after.
1/4 Mile 14.3secs 96Mph Terminal 10psi of boost.

my friend got his complete saxo dash flocked for his rally car, hes based in banbury, not too far from oxford way really, was a good price, ill find out some time if ya like?

may i ask what is flocking? is it the stuff which is on modern cars paper mache bits? looks like it is sprayed on bits of carpet Drives

just done a photoshoot today on a mate moded xr2, it had a flocked dash and really looked great, I have one as well in mine, and it looks good, go for it i say. Best 1/4 mile 13.2 seconds @116 mph
