just want to know what people think.

someone in my area is selling a "low milage, reconditioned turbo for ?95"
its a t3 turbo
does this sound good?
what should i look for to tell if its o.k?

always handy to have a spare turbo i suppose.

you didn't mention what size turbo it is, make sure it is the size you want. There are various ways of checking turbo's, the obvious one is check the rotation of the turbine, make sure it spins freely and there is no play in the shaft itself (side to side, up and down, in and out)
The metty turbo haynes manual shows checking with a run-out meter.
