Do any of you guys use a front mount rad..
If so do you use an electric fan as well?

Yes, im currently using the metro rad. A fan is a must for a road car as the temperature rises very quickly when stationary!! With the fan on it will hold about 85deg in traffic.

a front monted rad is very good on the cooling side but, it didn't let me enough space for the intercooling...
i'm using a motorbike rad taking the water fom the heater take of sending the water back to the water pump, this allowing a good cooling , purging the fourth cyl from heat and allowing an intercooler to be mounted on his side .

I am also using a front mounted rad. Bought 2 small fans from motorcycles and placed them behind the rad. (Left and right - inbetween is space for the dizzy)

Yeah, I do. Made a duct for my side mounted intercooler. Will try to send you a picture, can't post one here on the forum.

Yes, I do. Tight fit, only 5mm between flat dizzy cap and rad. (Only MK1 turbo dizzy possible - MK2 is too long)

i was wondering about the dizzy.....

but i think my rad will be small enough so as not to go out that far.......
but thats where my intercooler will have to go *tongue*
