i went to my local scrappys this morning to look for some appropiate hoses and alloy tubing for my smart car intercooler...i was looking around some engine bays and stumbled across what looked to be the ultimate solution for the turbo mini after measuring the pipes and the outlets on intercooler i decided this is the one to have,so removed the intercooler which has a oil cooler attached the connecting hoses and the metal piping which runs from turbo to i/c and i/c to plenum...it is very near to the metro turbo dimensions and should be a straight fit,and you should not need to buy anything else :cool: even better was the whole lot cost me ?20....the donor....none other than the fiat punto gt turbo...heres a couple of pics with a rs turbo i/c for comparism,the beauty of this i/c is that the inlet and outlet are at one end so it should fit nicely front mounted where between dizzy and drivers side in front grill :cool:

Everyone knows that instructions only have to be read if the thing doesn't work....

i would ditch that other rad and put a motorbike fan in its place, maybee use the rad somewhere else.

looks very similar to the lancia unit im using, good surface area of fins and fits perfectly in the grill, the only problem being it is a bit chunky, but a grill can fit over it if you stick it out a bit
