I had not seen one of these until 2 years ago. Now we get at least 3-4 a year in our studio at work now.

I wouldn be so worried about the queen as much as I would about all her chums that usually tag along with her and get a little p*ss*d off when you mess with Queenie! |

I think she's looking for some where to hibernate for the winter, wouldn't mind too much if it was just her but I really don't want a nest come the spring.

my dad got stung by one of these on his thumb a couple of years ago. the hornet was massive. he had to have his wedding ring cut off so he didnt lose his finger. very very nasty n pretty damned painfull too. luckily he wasnt allergic On 23rd Oct, 2009 sim_ou_nao said:
