Just checked the A/F ratio's too... running
12:1 on idle
11:1 off boost and creeps up to 12:1
13.5:1 on boost

When you shift, bang it skyrockets butas soon as you throttle again it sits on 13-13.5:1 on boost

Thats on 10psi not on 15psi

What do you guys think? Change the mix or needle or leave it? I would have thought around 12.5:1 on boost is what I would want... but if I richen it up, that will be way too rich off boost wont it? So have to muck about with the needle?

The exhaust leak is fixed - its sealed now, carb rebuilt and everything is pretty stable...

I may be wrong but that sounds too lean on boost and possibly a bit rich at idle/off boost.

When I had a wideband on mine I was looking at low 11's and high 10's on boost and 14ish at idle and light cruise sometimes going upto 15.

pete...if it helps, i aim for 12 to one at full throttle .

Medusa + injection = too much torque for the dyno ..https://youtu.be/qg5o0_tJxYM

Looks a bit backwards!

I look for
14:1 for idle
14.7:1 at cruise
12-1 for boost

Was the engine warmed up when you took that idle reading?

Thanks guys... needle reprofiling time.
Now that its all stable I know that I can test the needles properly. Before the A/F was all over the place carby was crook and the exhaust leak f%cked the readings too.

Turbo Tel - Thats what I want, so I have to either change needle or re-profile it...

Thanks for the advice guys.

Shaun - yes that was warm engine and warm o2 sensor *wink*
