exhaust housing on inside has 3 cracks, is this regular problem |

visable from the wastegate side of the turbo? this seems to be a re-occuring problem on all of the turbos ive come-across.
And on the 7th day........... God created turbochargers! |

Yes this is a very common problem, due to the extreme tmperatures this area has to live with. Most remanufactured turbos of some types allways come with new turbine housings for this reason. |

afaik, all that happens is a bvery slight loss in exhaust gass straight into the pipe. sort of the same as the wastegate being fractionally open all thge time. could be wrong tho! And on the 7th day........... God created turbochargers! |
